Port Bonifacio Upper Deck

The upper deck is permanently built into the room.

Designed to be lightweigth and quick, it will not take the weight of a person but it is strong enough that i have sprawled across it to work at the back. it is supported on the same system of brackets and girders as the lower deck

it is constructed of the same cheap pine battens and plywood but only 7mmm this time, and the battens are a simple grid, no L-girders. End pieces of 7mm ply attach to two shelf brackets to provide a trianagulated support at the most vulnerable ends.

All wiring will be on top of the deck, as will all tortoises. I had to run 220V mains lighting power through it so i don't want any other wiring in there, except one feed from below to the front edge, and i don't want anyone drilling holes for feeders etc
