TranzTrack G scale transfer table staging

I have built a six track transfer table for G-scale trains.

It is based on two doors from Trash Palace, a local garbage recycle centre. Old doors are cheap, rigid, light and pre-sealed.

Sides and top are MDF. The end is acrylic.

I used two ex-ATM roller tracks between the doors.

A simple homemade locking mechanism aligns the tracks.

The door to outside will be moved with a CD-ROM drawer drive.

To do:
Dust curtains on the sides to keep parked trains clean
Build access track and door-way through a window
Fasten down the six staging tracks once exit rail is finished so it can be aligned to
Wire six non-locking pushbuttons to power the tracks
