Track standards

Track

• Tillig or equivalent quality: weathered rail, brown ties, bolt-and-tie-plate. I know the US prototype is different but I already own the Tillig and it is beautiful trackwork. We may use "standard" US trackwork off the mainline, at elast some to show the difference ans a topic for conversation (will nayone notice?)
• Code 83 or less
• Nickel silver
• In gauge
• Live frogs switched by Tortoise (eware timing problems)
• Turnouts all DCC ready - Tillig are pretty easy to convert, most have been done already. See my post on Wiring for DCC
• soldered joints, wired turnouts, feeders all track sections
