Wettington and Mahawatu Rwy site preparation
The Wettington and Mahawatu Railway site was already excavated to roughly level, but was pretty much a wasteland.
Work is progressing to build low garden beds using concrete block walls, with brick paved paths (the site has quite a bit of second-hand brick).

Pukerua Bay is an extremely windy place, and close to the sea (180m). A wind-break wall has gone in. This will also provide some security to the site, as well as making it double as a yard for the dog Jack is going to get (though he doesn't know it yet). It better not chew my track!
